As of December 27, 500 km out of the entire 593.94 km of the Ganga Expressway in Uttar Pradesh has undergone clearing and grubbing work, signalling a progress in the preparation work.
84.11 percent of the civil construction work and 7.3% of the earthwork on the motorway have been finished, according to the daily status report provided by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA).
Clearing and grubbing refer to the process of preparing the construction site. Trees are felled during the clearance phase. The term “grubbing” describes the clearing and removal of organic waste and stumps.
