28 firms show interest to build six-lane Jalna-Nanded motorway to Samruddhi Mahamaarg

The Jalna-Nanded motorway bid for building a motorway connector to Samruddhi Mahamarg has received a positive reaction, with 28 stakeholders expressing interest in the project.

By responding to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ), some of the key firms in the construction sector, including L&T, G R Infraprojects, Afcons Infra, IRB infrastructure, and IRCON International, have expressed interest in the project.

The 179.85 km Jalna-Nanded motorway is being built, and earlier in April 2023, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) issued an RFQ to choose qualified contractors.

The project is expected to cost Rs 10,733.2 crore, take 30 months to complete, and have a 10-year defect liability period.
