This would be India&#8217;s ninth producing basin, and ONGC&#8217;s eighth. This follows the dedication of the eighth Indian Basin, the Bengal Basin, to the country on December 20, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Hatta#3 was drilled as an exploratory well with the goal of determining commercial potential through extensive testing and the acquisition of reservoir-specific data. The Son valley area of Madhya Pradesh is home to the Well Hatta#3.<\/p>\n<p>The well produced approximately 62,044 cubic metres of gas per day during testing, demonstrating the Proterozoic Basin&#8217;s production potential for the first time in India.
