Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) took up a berth at the Haldia Dock Complex (HDC), marking the company&#8217;s first foray into the state&#8217;s maritime business.<\/p>\n<p>Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (formerly Kolkata Port Trust) operates the Haldia Dock Complex, officially handed over the<a title=\"letter of award\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lawinsider.com\/dictionary\/letter-of-award-loa#:~:text=Letter%20of%20Award%20(LoA)%20means%20the%20issue%20of%20a%20signed,mentioning%20the%20total%20Contract%20Value.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> letter of award<\/a> (LoA) to Gautam Adani&#8217;s Adani Ports (APSEZ) for the mechanisation and upgrade of Berth No. 2 at HDC.
