The total capacity of the project 10 MT\/Day. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.47.5 million. The project involves establish Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility (CBWTF) is an infrastructural set up where Bio-Medical Waste is treated &amp; disposed off in a most economical and viable method. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.60 million. As of February 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newprojectstracker.com\/projects\/new-projects-by-waste-treatment-facility-project-in-palakkad-pii25538\"><strong>Indian Medical Association Goes Eco-Friendly<\/strong> is planning to take up common Bio-Medical waste treatment facility project<\/a> in Manthuruthy, Kanjikode West, Palakkad, Kerala. The project involves setting up common Bio-Medical waste treatment facility, spread in an area of 21.20 acres, provides bio-medical waste treatment and disposal services to about 16,000 health care establishments located in all the 14 districts of Kerala treat up to 55.8 TPD. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.17.5 million. The project involves setting up of the common biomedical waste treatment facility includes incinerator, autoclave, shredder, storage, air pollution control system, recycling units and effluent treatment facility. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.15 million.
