{"id":12994,"date":"2023-01-02T07:21:00","date_gmt":"2023-01-02T07:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newprojectstracker.com\/blog\/?p=12994"},"modified":"2023-01-25T10:35:44","modified_gmt":"2023-01-25T10:35:44","slug":"jsw-group-mulls-foray-in-to-evs-to-manufacture-four-wheelers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newprojectstracker.com\/blog\/jsw-group-mulls-foray-in-to-evs-to-manufacture-four-wheelers\/","title":{"rendered":"JSW Group mulls foray in to EVs, to manufacture four wheelers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\t<div class=\"dkpdf-button-container\" style=\" text-align:right \">\n\n\t\t<a class=\"dkpdf-button\" href=\"\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/12994?pdf=12994\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"dkpdf-button-icon\"><i class=\"fa fa-file-pdf-o\"><\/i><\/span> Download PDF Report<\/a>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.newprojectstracker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/4-wheelers.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A senior executive of the Sajjan Jindal-led conglomerate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsw.in\/\">JSW Group<\/a> has said that the company is thinking about getting into the production of electric automobiles.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The group had examined EV manufacturing plans earlier also but now it is becoming attractive,&#8221; JSW Group Chief Financing Officer Seshagiri Rao told PTI.<\/p>\n<p>The manufacturing of EVs is being discussed actively at the group level, he said while divulging JSW Group&#8217;s plan to expand its presence into more sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The group is looking to manufacture four-wheelers, Rao said.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about details of the manufacturing location, he said it is yet to be decided.<\/p>\n<p>On the timeline for the launch of an EV manufacturing facility, he said, &#8220;it (plan) is at advanced stages.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>JSW Group company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsw.in\/\">JSW Steel<\/a> owns and operates a one million tonne per annum (MTPA) steel plant at Salem in Tamil Nadu.
