The proposal to build a new power plant at Yamunanagar has received the chief minister&#8217;s approval, and shortly its site selection and detailed project report (DPR) would be accepted, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Yamunanagar currently features a thermal power plant as well.<\/p>\n<p>Since it became an independent state in 1966, Haryana has advanced in the power industry, increasing its electricity availability from 343 megawatts to 13,106.58 MW at the moment, according to a statement.<\/p>\n<p>In the last eight years, the state has become self-sufficient in terms of power availability, the statement added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Download PDF Report Yamunanagar, Haryana, would get a 900 megawatt power plant built.
