{"id":11425,"date":"2022-10-13T04:41:28","date_gmt":"2022-10-13T04:41:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newprojectstracker.com\/blog\/?p=11425"},"modified":"2023-01-27T06:04:52","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T06:04:52","slug":"bhel-signs-two-separate-contracts-for-construction-of-coal-gasification-based-plants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newprojectstracker.com\/blog\/bhel-signs-two-separate-contracts-for-construction-of-coal-gasification-based-plants\/","title":{"rendered":"BHEL signs two separate contracts for construction of coal gasification-based plants"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\t<div class=\"dkpdf-button-container\" style=\" text-align:right \">\n\n\t\t<a class=\"dkpdf-button\" href=\"\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/11425?pdf=11425\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"dkpdf-button-icon\"><i class=\"fa fa-file-pdf-o\"><\/i><\/span> Download PDF Report<\/a>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/newprojectstracker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/JSPL-to-build-two-coal-gasification-based-DRI-facilities.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>State-owned BHEL reported that it has signed two separate contracts for the construction of coal gasification-based plants with Coal India and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlcindia.in\/\">NLC India Ltd<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coalindia.in\/\">Coal India Limited (CIL)<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhel.com\/\">BHEL<\/a> and CIL will work together to establish a domestic high ash coal gasification-based coal to ammonium nitrate project.<\/p>\n<p>According to the agreement with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlcindia.in\/\">NLC India Limited (NLCIL)<\/a>, a lignite-based gasification pilot plant using BHEL&#8217;s homegrown Pressurized Fluidised Bed Gasification (PFBG) technology will be set up for the purpose of generating electricity.<\/p>\n<p>The MoUs were signed in presence of Minister of Heavy Industries Mahendra NathPandey, Minister of Mines &amp; Coal Pralhad Joshi, NITI Aayog member V.K.
