AIC Iron Industries’ Steel Plant Expansion Project<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

AIC Iron Industries<\/a> is planning to take up steel plant expansion project in Village: Benipur, P.O.: Saltor, P.S.: Neturia, Purulia, West Bengal. As of October 2022, the project involves proposed expansion of existing steel plant by installation of 1×400 TPD sponge iron plant (1,32,000 TPA), steel melting shop for total production of 2,60,500 TPA billets, 0.192 MTPA rolling mill with 1×15 TPH reheating furnace and captive power plant [20 MW (10 MW WHRB + 10 MW AFBC)] with investment Rs.1450 million. The project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.<\/p>\n

Atibir Industries’ Sponge Iron Plant Expansion Project<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Atibir Industries<\/a> is planning to take up sponge iron plant expansion project in Manjhiladih, Giridih, Jharkhand. The project involves expanding the existing plant with capacity Sponge Iron Plant (120000 TPA), Ferro Alloys (15 MVA), CPP (20 MW). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1050 million. On October 2018, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of October 2022, the project involves proposed addition of 15 MVA submerged Arc furnace for production of ferro alloys along with 20 MW captive power plant with investment Rs.1400 million. The project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.<\/p>\n
