The project involves of grain base fuel ethanol unit of 180 KLPD, 5.0 MW Co- generation power plant by product : 110 TPD of CO2 generation &amp; 73 TPD of DDGS. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2422.9 million. As of September 2022, environment clearance for the project is underway.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newprojectstracker.com\/projects\/new-projects-by-new-lithium-ion-cell-manufacturing-giga-factory-pee28899\"><strong>Exide Industries&#8217; New Lithium-Ion Cell Manufacturing Giga Factory<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.exideindustries.com\/\">Exide Industries<\/a> is planning to take up new lithium-ion cell manufacturing giga factory in Karnataka. The project involves setting up lithium-ion cell manufacturing giga factory. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.60000 million. On April 2022, company announced the investment proposal. The company has requested 80 acres of land in the Haraluru Industrial Area near Bengaluru airport. On August 2022, has executed the lease-cum-sale agreement with Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) for procuring land parcel in Bengaluru. As of September 2022, The first phase with a capacity of 6 gigawatt-hour is expected to be completed in 27-30 months.
