Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Union minister of civil aviation, stated that given the aviation industry’s growing potential, it is time for India to consider manufacturing aerospace goods.

He added that throughout the course of the following five to seven years, it is anticipated that the fleets of domestic carriers will total about 2,000 aircraft.

It’s time to consider aeronautical product manufacture in India. India’s manufacturing sector is ready to take off, he declared.

The minister stated, “We need to expand the ecosystem of Indian civil aviation,” while speaking at a conference held by the aviation consultant CAPA.

“Come and be part of the civil aviation growth story,” he said.
