Shakti Pumps India has announced the launch of a wholly-owned subsidiary that will manufacture electric vehicle motors, chargers, controllers, and drives.
Shakti Pumps India announced in a statement that its board of directors has approved the formation of a wholly-owned subsidiary to enter the electric vehicle market by manufacturing motors, chargers, controllers, and multi-application component variable frequency drives (VFDs) for electric vehicles.
“We have over 30 years of experience in manufacturing electric motors and five years of manufacturing power electronics equipment,” Shakti Pumps India Chairman and Managing Director Dinesh Patidar said.
