The Bhopal-Kanpur Economic Corridor, which is being built at a cost of Rs 11,300 crore, will reduce travel time between Bhopal and Kanpur from 15 hours to 7 hours.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated 18 National Highway (NH) projects worth Rs 6,800 crore to improve road connectivity in Madhya Pradesh’s backward Bundelkhand region.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, was present, as were Union Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar, Union Minister of State Prahlad Singh Patel, and other state ministers.
The union minister inaugurated NH projects totaling 550 km at an event in Orchha, including the Sagar Greenfield Link Road.
