NHAI floats tender for overlaying on Gurgaon-Kotputli-Jaipur section of NH-48

The six-lane Gurgaon-Kotputli-Jaipur portion of NH-48 (Old NH-8) in Rajasthan will undergo overlaying, and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued an invitation for bids.

The six-lane Gurgaon-Kotputli-Jaipur section of NH-48 will undergo strengthening work from kilometre 188.000 to km 268.300 at the risk and expense of the concessionaire.

The project would take 12 months to complete and will cost Rs 407.83 crore.

Additionally, the section’s operation and maintenance (O&M) contract needs to be fulfilled. The portion of the Old NH-8 from kilometre 107+100 to km 188+000 (total length 80.900 km) will be under construction.

The scope of work includes new construction, re-construction, strengthening, overlaying, and other miscellaneous works like road furniture and appurtenances. Where necessary, existing structures will also be repaired.
