The National Highways Authority of India has declared H G Infra Engineering as the lowest (L-1) bidder (NHAI).
Under the Bharatmala Pariyojna, the scope of work includes six-laning with access control from 29.435 km to 74.168 km of NH-48 (formerly NH-4) in the state of Karnataka, including the Tumkur bypass section. The total length of the road is 44.733 kilometres.
The estimated project cost is Rs 844.11 crore, with a three-year completion period.
