New Shrimp Processing Projects in India- 2020

Falcon Marine Exports is planning to take up new frozen shrimps processing project in Naupalgadi, Chandipur, Balasore, Orissa. The project involves pre processing of frozen shrimps with capacity 10000 MT. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on November 2019. As of January 2020, the project is in planning stage.

Vijayanagar Food And Nutraceuticals is planning to take up new forzen shrimp processing project in Thamavada Road, Laveru, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves processing forzen shrimp with capacity 1000 Mts. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on January 2020. As of June 2020, the project is in planning stage.

Growel Feeds is planning to set up new shrimp/prawn feed manufacturing unit in Balasore, Odisha. The project involves setting up a Shrimp/Prawn Feed and Fish Feed Manufacturing Facility with annual capacity of 113,000 Metric Ton. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.658.2 million. As of July 2020, State Level Single Window Clearance Committee has approved the investment proposal.

Roshan Foods is planning to take up a new freezed shrimp processing project in Pattanakkad, Alappuzha, Kerala. The project involves processing freezed shrimp with capacity 8.9 MT. The project is estimated to cost Rs.45 million. As of August 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project

Jaya Lakshmi Sea Foods is planning to take up a new shrimp manufacturing project in Movva, Krishna, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing of shrimp 40 TPD, Flake ice – 60 TPD and Tube
ice – 40 TPD. As of September 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
