Salts and Chemicals’ Specialty and Disinfectant Chemicals Mfg. Project
Salts and Chemicals is planning to take up Specialty and disinfectant chemicals manufacturing project in Sugandha, Village, Hooghly, West Bengal. The project involves manufacturing expansion of specialty chemicals and disinfectant chemicals in existing unit with capacity of 1656 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.22 million. As of September 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
Sky Steel and Power’s New Steel Plant
Sky Steel and Power is planning to take up New steel plant in Kesda Village, Simga Tehsil,
Balodabazar, Chhattisgarh. The project involves setting up of new steel plant for iron ore beneficiation of capacity 1.3 MTPA, Pellet plant of 1 MTPA, DRI Kilns (Sponge iron 3,30,000 TPA), Induction furnace with LRF & CCM (Hot Billets / MS Billets / Ingots – 2,64,000 TPA), Rolling mill (Rolled products 2,97,000 TPA), Submerged electric arc furnaces with WHRB based power plant 22 MW, CFBC based Power Plant 16 MW & brick manufacturing unit 56,000 Bricks/day. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.4940 million. As of September 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
