New Food Parks, Storage Terminal Projects in India – 2021

  • Manjunatha Enterprises is planning to take up new food processing and cold storage unit in Sira Industrial Area, Tumkur, Karnataka . The project involves establish a unit for food processing and cold storage in 1 acres. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.156 million. As of January 2021, Karnataka’s State Level Single Window Clearance Committee has approved the investment proposal.
  • Kothur Logistics Park is planning to take up a new food grains storage project in IALA Kothur, TSIIC, Rangareddy, Telangana. The project involves establishment of food grains processing and handling facility with capacity 1200 Tons/Day. The project is estimated to cost Rs.1057.533 million. As of February 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
  • Yadadri Food Park Infrastructures is planning to take up new agri and food processing industrial park in Choutuppal, Yadadari Bhuvanagiri, Telangana. The project involves setting up new integrated infrastructure with all the facilities to be provided for agri and food processing products in the proposed agri and food park processing industries hub in 93.48 hectares. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1320.6 million. As of March 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
  • Leap India Food & Logistics is planning to take up Food grains storage project in Uppilipalayam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The project involves storage of food grains with capacity of 450000 MT. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on January 2021. As of April 2021, the project is in planning stage.
  • Avigna Space is planning to take up new food terminal in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The project involves developing a 10 million sq ft of integrated mega food terminal market in Chennai. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.20000 million. As of April 2021, pre project activities are going on.
  • Avigna Group is planning to take up new food terminal in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The project involves setting up Food Terminal Market project near Chennai to the state government. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.20000 million. The project is conceptualized with the aim of building a place for national, international trade, with a yard and a dry port, hospitals and budget hotels for farmers with a plan to introduce a day pass so that farmers can bring even their families along. As of June 2021, project work commenced.
