New Bio Medical Waste Projects – 2020

  • SMS Envoclean is planning to take up new common bio medical waste treatment facility in Atkargaon, Khalapur, Raigad, Maharashtra. The project involves establishment of common bio medical waste treatment facility with capacity 2000 kg/hr x 2 nos. of incinerators. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.450 million. As of April 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
  • Medicare Environmental Management is planning to take up common bio-medical waste treatment facility expansion project in Raniganj, Barddhaman, West Bengal. The project involves enhance the treatment capacity of the facility from 7.5 TPD to 15 TPD. With the proposed expansion, in addition to bio-medical waste, Medicare proposes to also manage (through incineration) different kinds of non-hazardous waste streams including: (a) sanitary waste from household, (b) commercial and institutional waste, (c) narcotics/drugs from customs/police department, and (d) expired/rejected branded and packaged products etc. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.120 million. As of January 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
  • Rayalaseema Environ Care is planning to take up new common bio-medical waste treatment facility in Mega Industrial Park, Phase- I, Kopparthy, YSR Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves establish a common bio-medical waste treatment facility in an area of 1.19 acres. The key components of the proposed facility include: Incinerator (dual chambered) of 250 kg/hr capacity, Autoclave of 25 kg/hr and Shredder of 100 kg/hr. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.27 million. As of February 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
  • V M Techno Soft is planning to take up new common bio-medical waste treatment facility in Barbaspur, Korba, Chhattisgarh. The project involves development of common bio-medical waste treatment facility with capacity 4.8 MTPD. The details are induction pyrolysis incineration capacity:100Kg/hr, autoclaving capacity:100litre/Batch, shredder capacity:100kg/hr, ETP :10 KLD. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.27 million. As of March 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
  • Vighnahar Environmental Solutions is planning to take up new common biomedical waste treatment facility in Kandali, Junnar, Pune, Maharashtra. The project involves establishment of common biomedical waste treatment facility with Incineration: 200 kg/hr Autoclave: 150 liters per batch Shredder: 100 kg/hr Effluent Treatment Plant: 8 KLD. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.50 million. As of March 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
  • Biotic Waste Solutions is planning to take up new common bio-medical waste treatment facility in Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate, Delhi. The project involves establishment of common bio-medical waste treatment facility with capacity 30 TPD, Incineration Capacity 500 kg/day- Rotary incinerator 300 kg/day – Static incinerator, Autoclave Capacity 350 kg/batch each (2 no.) and Plastic Shredder 350 kg/batch. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.40 million. As of April 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
  • Steth Biomed Solutions is planning to take up new waste treatment facility in Adinarayanahoshalli Industrial Area, Bangalore, Karnataka. The project involves establishment of bio medical and E-waste treatment facility. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.155 million. As of July 2020, State Level Single Window Clearance Committee has approved the investment proposal.
  • Restore health Medicare is planning to take up new common biomedical waste treatment facility in Bachati Bangar , Tehsil Sikandra, Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. The project involves establishment of common biomedical waste treatment facility. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.10 million. As of April 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
  • VRBA Bio Waste Solution is planning to take up new common biomedical waste treatment facility in Dakahi Tehsil- Naugarh, Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh. The project involves setting up common biomedical waste treatment facility for treatment of 200 Kg per hour rotary kiln based bio medical incineration includes incinerator, autoclave, shredder, storage and effluent treatment facility. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.15 million. As of May 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
