- Hindalco Industries is planning to take up new Amtipani bauxite mine in Amtipani, Chirodih, Gurdari Villages, Taluka: Bishunpur, Gumla, Jharkhand. The project involves installation of mobile crusher 200 TPH, Screening & washing for subgrade/low grade mineral. The production capacity of Bauxite 150000 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.120 million. In January 2020, the project was submitted for the first level of environmental clearance. As of June 2020, the project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.
- Odisha Mining Corporation is planning to take up Kodingamali bauxite mine expansion project in Kashipur, Rayagada and Lakshmipur, Koraput, Orissa. The project involves expanding the Kodingamali bauxite mine for production pf 3 MTPA to 6 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.424.8 million. As of February 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Larsen And Toubro is planning to take up new Kutrumali bauxite mine in Kalahandi and Rayagada districts, Orissa. The project involves development of Kutrumali bauxite mine having about 78.50 million tonnes of mineable reserves as per the mining plan approved by Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM). The rated capacity of the project is 3 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2710 million. As of March 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Larsen And Toubro is planning to take up new Sijimali Bauxite mine in Kalahandi and Rayagada districts in Odisha. The project involves development of Sijimali Bauxite mine with 220.39 million tonnes of mineable reserves as per the mining plan approved by Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.7160 million. As of March 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Larsen And Toubro is planning to take up new Kutrumali bauxite mining project in Kalahandi and Rayagada districts, Orissa. The project involves mining of Kutrumali bauxite. The bauxite extracted from Kutrumali mine will be used as captive source for production of metallurgical grade alumina. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2710 million. As of June 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Hindalco Industries is planning to take up Maliparbat Bauxite mine expansion project in Aligaon-Kankaramba Village, Pottangi, Koraput, Odisha. The project involves expanding the Maliparbat Bauxite Mine, (ML Area: 268.110 Ha) Enhancement of Production of Bauxite From 0.6 MTPA to 0.9 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.240 million. On July 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of January 2021, the project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.
- MAA Kudargarhi Alumina & Refinery is planning to take up new bauxite beneficiation plant in Chiranga, Batauli Block, Surguja, Chattisgarh. The project involves setting up bauxite beneficiation plantto extract Alumina Hydrate 2,00,000 TPA or 0.20 Million TPA, Mineral through put 3,76,000 MT per annum. Overall Plant Operating Factor 92% Proposed Daily Production 595 t/day @336 days/Annum Total Area of Plant Premises : 91.942 Ha. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.114.671 million. As of August 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
