Construction major Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) has bagged a contract worth Rs 1989 crore from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd for construction of 8-km section between Rajendra Nagar and Patna Junction Railway Station.
A part of Corridor 2 of Patna Metro Rail project, this will be done with 6 underground stations. The Letter of Acceptance (LoA) was issued on December 29, 2021.
This comes close on the heels of L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Ltd that runs metro trains Wednesday raised Rs 13,119 crore by selling bonds and commercial papers (CPs). This will be one of the largest fundraisings on a single day.
