Dashrath Prasad Industries’ New Grain Based Ethanol Fuel Mfg. Unit

Dashrath Prasad Industries is planning to establish a new grain-based fuel ethanol manufacturing unit in Tekulapalle, Penuballi, Khammam, Telangana. The project entails a manufacturing capacity of grain-based fuel ethanol 120 KLPD, and power generation from captive power 4 MW. The project is expected to cost Rs.1462.375 million. As of March 2023, the company has received the necessary consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project. With this approval, the company can move forward with the establishment of the grain-based fuel ethanol manufacturing unit. The manufacturing process for fuel ethanol begins with the fermentation of sugars derived from grains, followed by distillation and dehydration to produce ethanol. Fuel ethanol is considered a renewable and eco-friendly fuel alternative to traditional fossil fuels, as it emits fewer pollutants into the environment. The power generated from the captive power plant will aid in the manufacturing process and also contribute to meeting the electricity demand of the region.
